Andy Beaudoin is a drummer with unique musical qualities stemming from his multifaceted background.

Along with leading his own ensembles, he performs with artists such as Brazos, Fared Shafinury, Erik Telford Collective, Lost Keys, and Time Out. Andy has recorded with many artists including composer Mark Lewis and guitarist Tucker Rountree with bassist Roscoe Beck. He has also toured with Mr. Rountree, opening for the legendary guitarist Eric Johnson.

Andy Beaudoin holds a Master’s Degree in Jazz Studies from the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston and a Bachelor’s Degree in classical percussion from the University of Texas at Austin. As a student, he studied and/or performed with many music legends including A.D. Mannion, Bob Moses, Steve Lacy, Jerry Bergonzi, Mulgrew Miller, and Kenny Wheeler. Other performances of note include the Austin Symphony Orchestra, Texas Festival Orchestra, JETA Percussion Quartet, Trommel with featured soloist Bob Becker (NEXUS, Steve Reich Ensemble), and Fared Shafinury with guest artist Pezhham Akhavass.

As an educator, Andy taught at Cy-Fair College from 2003-2007 where he led a variety of music classes and the jazz band. He currently resides in Austin, TX where he performs, records, and teaches privately. Andy Beaudoin is endorsed by and uses Ayotte Drums.
