Andy Beaudoin is a drummer with unique musical qualities stemming from his multifaceted background.

Along with leading his own ensembles, he performs and records with artists such as Nori, The Eastern Sea, Montopolis, Brazos, Fared Shafinury, Erik Telford Collective, Lost Keys, Time Out, Mark Lewis, Jacob Wise, and guitarist Tucker Rountree with bassist Roscoe Beck. He has toured internationally performing at historic venues and music festivals including the Monterey Jazz Festival and South by Southwest.

Andy Beaudoin holds a Master’s Degree in Jazz Studies from the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston and a Bachelor’s Degree in classical percussion from the University of Texas at Austin. Classical performances of note include the Austin Symphony Orchestra, Texas Festival Orchestra, JETA Percussion Quartet, Trommel with featured soloist Bob Becker (NEXUS, Steve Reich Ensemble), and Fared Shafinury with guest artist Pezhham Akhavass.

As an educator, Andy taught at Cy-Fair College from 2003-2007 where he led a variety of music classes and the jazz ensemble. He currently resides in Austin, TX where he performs, records, and teaches both privately and at Concordia University.
